If you do this with minimal bend at that hinge point, you can replace the transmitter and still have it lock into place. I do not use the receiver but just use the iphone. Technically, if you remove the transmitter, you can replace it back onto the same sensor (and tape it back down so it stays locked in place, if youve busted the hinge point in the process of removing the transmitter). SIDE NOTE: I have heard from several t-slim users that this method does indeed work to restart the G6 for those users. The in-between process doesnt work well, so pick a version and follow-through.
